Jessica Vivian
Jessica Vivian attended the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida with a major in "I don't really want to be here." She did not graduate, but she did get married and have three children in five years.
She escaped the prison-like atmosphere of homemaking by playing The Sims while her children were asleep. This proved to be both addictive and rewarding.
Years later, Jessica realized her marriage was over. She filed for divorce and used her savings to move herself and her three children into a two bedroom apartment in the 'burbs.
With few skills aside from her infectious charm and wit, finding employment proved to be quite the challenge. During her nine-month unemployment, Jessica spent time chronicling the triumphs and defeats of post-divorce parenting with an honesty and humor that has become her trademark style.
Her blog, Build-A-Me Workshop, was both her therapy and her savior as it re-ignited a long forgotten passion: writing.
It is with this newfound confidence and bravery that Jessica decided to lend her writing talents to such platforms as Examiner.com, Associated Content, Hubpages, Literotica.com and Suite101.
